It was really interesting trip as we decided to take a flight from Manila to Kalibo to reach to this Boracay Island.
Arrived in Kalibo Aiport, there is a lot of tour buses that can bring tourist to a jetty, where we can ride a 'Paraw' to Boracay Island, it's very easy to get transport at the airport.
The view of this White Beach is amazed me and I wish I can come back here one day..Due to a limited time, we were unable to see all parts of Boracay. During our two days in the Island, we accompanied by a tour guide that suggested by the cottage staff and his very helpful.
Once reached at the island, we checked in at St Vincent Cottage (it's recommended for those travel in a group), its located in between Station 2 and 3. We booked a room earlier before came here to ensure there is a place for us to stay there.
During island hoping, the guide brought us to see the Cave Island and some part of the Boracay. Cave Island is very beautiful. The scenery is so amazing and only can be described by seeing pictures. I believe the sunset here will looks very beautiful.
During our stay in this Island, I found out mostly the visitors are from Korean, China and United States.
For Muslims, going to Philippines will be very hard as it's not easy to find halal food even in town area. Although, there are lot of fast food outlets but most of them serving pork. So we have to be more selected in terms of food when come to Philippines..
Thanks God, we found a small Muslim residence in this Island which serving halal food. Although, the price is expensive, it doesn't matter as long as we can eat rice during our stay.
At night, we spend time to have a walk along the White Beach from our station to station 1. Bar lounges, massage centers, tattoo makers, doing hair beads can be found everywhere.
After dinner, we went around to see if any interesting scene can be captured..and Yes..we found a fire ball show..We don't want to spend a lot here, so we only watch it from outside as there is a entrance fee for it.
